The Code discusses SECTT at ITB Berlin

Posted on Mar 16, 2017

During the second week of March 2017, ECPAT International and The Code participated in ITB Berlin, the largest travel and tourism fair in the world. We were there to discuss the importance for all actors in society to take their responsibility in regards to SECTT (sexual exploitation of children in travel and tourism).

On 8-10 March, The Code and ECPAT Germany hosted a booth at the ITB exhibition grounds. Learn more about The Code (short for “The Code of Conduct for the Protection of Children from Sexual Exploitation in Travel and Tourism”) here.

On 9 March, ECPAT International Executive Director Dorothy Rozga and Damien Brosnan, Programme Manager of The Code, joined a panel discussion on child protection in tourism. The discussion was moderated by Rika Jean-François, Commissioner, Corporate Social Responsibility, ITB Berlin and Board Member of The Code.
